I saw this on Jan’s blog:
iPhone Independence Day
It’s a hack that lets one take an unactivated iPhone and make it work for iPod and WiFi only (no cellphone service) without AT&T. It looks like a hack that has the phone connect with a fake activation server. Pretty cool.
Many people are already offering bounties for a hacked (unlocked) iPhone. If somebody wants to buy me one, I’ll give hacking it a whirl
